About the Role:
Global Protection & Investigations is looking for a dedicated and professional Patrol Officer to join our growing security team in Sacramento, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to serve as a visible security presence, protecting people, property, and assets for our valued clients. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular standing and mobile patrols of assigned posts and client properties
- Monitor and control access points, ensuring only authorized individuals enter secured areas
- Deter, detect, and report suspicious activity, trespassing, or security threats
- Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following established protocols
- Write detailed, accurate incident reports and maintain a daily activity log
- Enforce client site rules and regulations in a professional and courteous manner
- Communicate effectively with law enforcement, emergency services, and client personnel as needed
Requirements:
- Valid California Guard Card (BSIS Security Officer License) required
- Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred
- Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods during assigned shifts
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for accurate report writing
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a customer-service-oriented attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
